Membership periods and costs
- WellSpring has two alternative membership intake dates for members: either February or August.
- Membership runs for one year from the intake date, after which time members are given the opportunity to choose to renew their membership.
- If you decide to become a new WellSpring member in a month other than February or August, your initial membership rate will be calculated on a pro rata basis for the first year, until it falls due again (in either February or August).
Example: Mary and Joe decide to take up a WellSpring Couple's membership in April. Since two months have already elapsed from the February intake date, they are entitled to a two-month discount from the annual Couple's membership cost of $130.
Thus, for the first year, from April (when they join) to the following February (when their membership falls due for annual renewal), they will only pay (around) $108, which includes a two-month pro rata deduction on the usual $130 couple's annual rate.
The next February, their annual renewal
amount will be $130 for the following full year. |
