Prayer and reflection
'The ears with which one hears the message of the Gospel are hidden in a person's heart and these ears do not hear anything unless they are favoured with a certain interior solitude or silence.' (Thomas Merton)

Prayer at Noon

Contemplative Services
(Held at Ashburton Baptist Church, 8 Y Street Ashburton)
Three times a year, WellSpring creates a service of worship for those who appreciate a contemplative time together.
It is a time for listening to God in the silence, the music, the poetry, the visual arts... as well as providing space for reflection on, and responses to, the deeper awakenings of the Spirit within.
We celebrate together Ash Wednesday, the Day of Pentecost,, and we finish the year with a service of Thanksgiving.
If you have not yet experienced a contemplative service you are warmly invited to come. We would love to see you!
Why not mark these dates in your diary for 2011 and give yourself a good chance of being there?
Thanksgiving Service: Wednesday 16 November 2011 at 7.30 p.m.
