Contemplative Supervision: Growing our Identity and Practice
In this an interactive seminar where Lynette explores what contemplative supervision looks like. Using images and various perspectives, she invites reflection on:
Who am I as a supervisor?
Who am I as a supervisee?
What do we hope to foster in spiritual direction supervision?
What are the shadows to be aware of?
Ethics and Opportunities to grow.
The seminar is from 9:45 to 11:45 (AEDT) and is hybrid format.
Following the seminar, Lynette will offer a one hour workshop for Spiritual Companions. 12:45 to 1:45pm. Hybrid mode.
More about Lynette
Lynette Dungan is an experienced spiritual director (25+ years), and supervisor, (18+) years – supervising spiritual care practitioners and spiritual directors. She is a past member of the AECSD, a current supervisor member of the Australasian Association of Supervisors, and a part-time member (for 18+ years) of the formation team in the Wellspring Centre Art of Spiritual Direction program. Lynette has been undertaking a PhD exploring Supervision with a Contemplative Stance, has published scholarly articles in international journals on supervision, and wrote a Reflective Report on the Supervision workshop of the Spiritual Directors Leadership Institute in Massachusetts, 2012 (an Institute of Spiritual Directors International) on which she served in 2011 & 2012.
