Come witness and experience new and creative ways of doing supervision in groups.

In this workshop, you'll see a live demonstration of a peer supervision process based on Kim-Oliver Tietze "Six Phases of Peer Group Supervision of Spiritual Direction". Taking turns in defined roles, participants engage creative tools to explore cases or verbatim from their spiritual companioning practice.

The creative styles that could be used include:

*Sounding board

*Brain storming

*Contemplative listening

*Act storming

*Role play

You'll see patterns that ripple through what happened in the pilgrim and the companioning space into the group work. The group environment fosters a sense of trust and genuine care, so participants freely enter into the reflective process gaining insights and clarity.

The program is facilitated by Joan Wright Howie, Jennifer Guild and Leslie Hanger, members of the WellSpring Formation Team. You'll see them in action as they demonstrate the group process. They will also facilitate an opportunity for you to try some new ways of working in a small group, as peers.

We encourage you to come in person and catch up with other members of the WellSpring spiritual companion community. You may want to join us at Prayer at Noon in the chapel beforehand or catch up around a BYO lunch.

If this is not feasible, please join by zoom.

Please note, that in order to best facilitate learning, zoom participants will watch the live session and join an on-line small group. If the majority of participants register to attend by zoom, the session will shift to zoom only.

Please register by July 19 so we can plan and organise logistics for the day.
